| At Mile End Film Group we believe the power to make television-like communications must be in the hands of millions, not just a few thousand broadcasters and film producers. This concept is to put finances in producing a film on the screen. In this regard the concept should have an Ultra Low Budget. This concept only works if the filmmaker goes back to basics to develop and express their creativity. CODE 1. All shooting must be done on location. 2. No sound must be produced apart from the images or vice versa. 3. The camera can be hand-held or on a tripod. 4. Lighting is not allowed. (AVAILABLE LIGHT ONLY) 5. Use of stock footage is not allowed. 6. The film must not contain superficial action. 7. The film must take place in the location it is shot. It must be in the present not the past or future. 8. The film must be character and story-driven. 9. The “film” must be digital video. 10. All participants can be credited |
